A Fresh Start

Hey there! This website is the new home of Nature Journaling for Kids: Connection to Nature through Drawing, Observation, and Outdoor Exploration in Washington's South Puget Sound. The old address is at: blogs.evergreen.edu/naturejournalingforkids. I won't have access to the old site when I graduate, so this is the new site! I will be posting new content in the future, so stay tuned!

  1. Hi Megan

I just wanted to say thank you for your beautiful book Nature Journaling with Children.

I discovered your book when I did a google search for information for an upcoming post on Nature Journaling with children over at Every Bed of Roses

Your clear step by step is excellent and makes journaling within reach of every day people like me :)

May I make two suggestions ?
1 - Update your download with a copywrite blurb on page 2 and add in your new blog address as a footer to each page.
2 - Save your pdf to google docs so we don't loose the ability to download it once you graduate.

I love your ideas. Please could you do more posts on the topic of Nature Journaling with children ?

In anticipation of your insight on Nature Journaling

    1. Thank you so much for your comment and suggestions Chareen! Your blog looks really neat, I will definitely be taking a more in-depth look at it soon.
I actually haven't been able to find the original file for my booklet, so editing it might be a bit difficult at the moment. But actually, I have the book available for download on google docs, just click on the "download the booklet" link under "pages" on the right-hand side of the screen. I also created a page for a new journaling project I did recently under "Megan's Bird Behavior Field Journal."
      Happy Journaling!

    2. Thank you Megan. Seems I would need to be logged out to access it via google docs :) Will try again another day.

I will drop you the link when my post on Nature Journaling goes up next week monday :)

  2. Hi, I was interested in your journal for kids, needed to look for one for our class but can't open/download it. Since Chareen gave great comments about it.

    1. Hello Mrs. Tulip,

I am so thrilled to see that my old college project from almost a decade ago can still benefit the community! I hope that the booklet will be a good fit for your class.

I just re-uploaded the file. Take a look here on the "Download the Booklet" page, is the download link working now?:https://naturejournalingforkids.blogspot.com/p/download-booklet.html
